Stone-tiled bathroom with a glass shower and timber vanity in Mastacon’s Glenelg North renovation

Glenelg North.

Art Deco character meets a bold new chapter in this Glenelg North home.

Alison House was an existing Art Deco home, with its original details providing the starting point for the interiors, developed in collaboration with joinery designer Stefan Vignogna. Spectra Group reworked the layout and extension, while the original bones were maintained and improved, keeping the character of the existing home flowing into the new.

The entrance sets the tone. A wide hallway, textured walls, timber detailing and preserved leadlight doors lead into the new open-plan living spaces.

And then there’s the green. Borrowed from the original roof, it becomes a defining feature throughout the interiors, paired with natural stone checkerboard tiling and bold quartzite benchtops.

Old bones. Bold moves. A home with plenty of personality.
